This is a tough one as $5 may seem like a lot but nowadays it really isn't that much and you would have to really think before you made a solid decision in investment. I think if I had just $5 I would take a look into crypto and see whether I could invest in crypto to hopefully make a profit. I am not sure what else I could invest in if I am honest with $5 as there would be very little but at the same time, investing in crypto could also be a huge risk as well.
To be honest, it's difficult to make any investment with just $5. But some brokerage firms or even banks here do not set account minimums. You may be able to buy some "cents" stocks with a small amount of money.

$5 can be utilised in cryptocurrency investment by buying smaller coins.
After inflation and high prices of commodities the worth of 5$ becomes so low and even here our currency is very weak against dollar as 1$= 270 pkr but still I am saying it is very difficult to invest 5$, but I will prefer to purchase rice from whole sale and try to resell it in a little higher price.
Most of memecoins turns into scam in next coming days so such kind of investment is so risky because most of people think like they will make a fourtune when value increase * 10 then find no one purchase from them.
