In Italy, probable ban on smoking even outdoors

In Italy, since twenty years, smoking has been prohibited anywhere indoors. But now a new decree law is about to be introduced, which would extend this ban to many outdoor places as well. The key point of the decree will be to completely ban smoking if there are children or pregnant women nearby. The extension of the bans would concern also the electronic cigarettes and heated tobacco products. Further restrictions should then cover the possibility of smoking in railway stations, bus stops and also at ferry landings.​

It's good to know, it must be ban all over the world. The important point us that if something is bad for health in all aspects then why people hurting themselves.

Tobacco is very harmful to the health of the human being. I bet tobacco should be banned in the whole world. I don't really understand why they can't burn the use for it.

I can't help but agree with you that banning smoking almost everywhere is a more than wise and correct decision. Just simply look at this picture and read what is written directly on the packs of cigarettes for sale.

It is a good news but how will government regulate it because it seems they will arrest half of Italians because almost 60% of Italians are serial smokers. I wish the new law will help reduce carbon monoxide consumption in Italy.

In my home country nepal, smoking is already banned in public places. You cannot smoke on the street, parts, bus stands, train stations, etc.

Though this might affect people who are already addicted, but it's actually a good step. This would help in creating a more healthy country. The funny thing is immediately I open this thread, I just came across someone smoking and walking on the streets
