In the business world customers are kings. do agree?

In my country there is a saying that used to apricate customers and let the customers know how the business respect them which is saying "customers are kings" and also another saying "customers are always right" this two saying shows that the customers are always respected on the business world and when you go to a shop or store almost all shops have a banner with this two sayings.
Do you agree with this two sayings?

Yes that's right, customers are kings which in a way shows that customers are always right.. this means that customers should always be respected by sellers in a business to lure them to buy.

Frankly speaking l do believe on this. This is because the entrepreneur would stock goods on the shelf but never know who or when the items would be bought. Now that the people that comes in the business to buy these items are very important resources for the business and they are being treated as kings.

In some countries, government officials are extremely powerful, especially in the internet sector and get away with all their frauds. Even if a business provides good quality products, if the business owner is not well connected, they will fail.

Its also the same over here, some would say customers are royalty and should be treated as such. How you treat them would determine if they would want to return back again or not.

I don't agree, I only agreed as customers do have their prime importance and we need to talk them gently and demonstrate about our products nicely. But all these favours should be up to some level once they feel they are king, they will try to make shopkeeper a slave. Mostly will purchase items by giving loss to shopkeeper.

Exactly, if there is no customers and if there is no one who will buy our products then having a business and having a shop or a store is meaningless, in order the business to survive it need customers and respecting customers will give us a lots of customers.
