Is delivery service important for a business?

I think delivery service depends on what one is selling whether, online or offline. Like one that's selling bulky things delivery is essential but clothing, shoes or some personal care products might not need delivery service

Some businesses don't even wait for customers to come to their shop or factory to buy products any longer. They take it to supply right at the customers doorsteps. It helps quick sales.

Some customers are even lazy to go and purchase that product themselves which is why they prefer to make use of businesses that offer delivery services so that they will have the product brought to them.

It still depends on so many factors. If I buy 100 bags of rice from you, how would I have to convey it to my destination. The onus lies on you the seller to deliver the goods for me because I am buying large quantities.

All those selling food online in my place have delivery agents which they pay a part and the consumer pays a part. They have creates employment for some other people.

It depends on the business though, there are some business that rely a lot on having a delivery system. This would make the work a lot easier for the customers as well. Especially does from a far distance.
