Divide and Rule is a man management approach where leaders always instigate the staff members to always be at strive. That gives the leaders more power because the subjects can't be united for a common course.

Is Divide and Rule really a bad business management strategy or it is something that is necessary for some situations in business?

I do not think there is anything wrong with delegating tasks to all the people working in a company. The most important thing is that they are working toward a common goal or goals.

In business, there must be delegation of tasks, so that leaders can organize their employees to work in a more disciplined manner, without rules work will always be delayed and customers will go elsewhere.

It depends because some elements of the team are toxic people or could have some conflicts between them so the work doesn't work as expected.

When it comes to managing a business, I’d say divide and rule is an absolutely terrible philosophy. I’m sure that works being a dictator, but it certainly goes against anything you’re taught in the management field.

Divide and rule is widely used by the rich and powerful to keep the poorer communities poor and become richer. Relatives and friends are rewarding for betraying hardworking meritorious professionals from poorer communities.

Personally, i believe the divide and rule approach in personnel management in business is bad. This is because it creates division or conflicts among the team members. It might provide a short term gain but it is harmful in the long run.
