There are still many people in India that sell newspaper in India in the morning and during the day they work on other jobs so it's still good because they have another source of earning from which they earn fixed guaranteed income.

Newspaper is phasing out because of digital age. Things are changing rapidly. I read all the news online even at zero cost. Selling newspapers maybe profitable in some area but it will soon stop been marketable.

There are still a few news stands and people who sell newspapers. I think it is not profitable now. I used to see my best friend who sells them house-to-house before.

In here many students and other sell newspaper as they have confirmed customers so they drop newspaper at their home so this way they have confirmed earnings

That is so true I don't see people read newspapers these days. It's mostly the old generation who have the habit of reading newspapers buy them otherwise people now a day like to watch the news on tv or YouTube.

Even the elderly people have managed to know how to get to news sites online. Some if them, that's the only thing they known in their smartphones.

that is true but here some elderly people don't own smartphones so for them newspaper is a good option to know the news.
