Is it popular to sell Newspapers?

Here in my city, there are only two newsstands for offices and companies. I also stopped subscribing newspapers.

Okay that good we used to have these stands in town where one could read papers but it is no longer there.

Here in my country people still buy news paper but it is not really that popular, the majority of the people who actually read them are local transportation workers. Especially now that one can easily access any news though the internet at any time.

Selling news paper is also popular in Pakistan, people drop it mostly in different houses and collect payment on monthly basis.

The sales have totally decline in my country there's no need for it again as the vendors have gotten into other businesses

Exactly that's why the newspaper have died a natural death. Nobody is patronising it in my locality

The same thing happens in my country. Nobody is interested in buying a newspaper because they simply surf the net in order to learn the news every day.

Newspaper business is a good business before but nowadays that there is internet and many websites to read news, the business is no more profitable

Why would I buy papers when I can read it online is some of tge question that would be raised. But do you the newspapers publishers are not so fool. It is not all information you can get on newspapers that are available on such newspapers online.

The sales of newspapers go down until this time in the new normal. people just glance at their mobile phones to read the news, but I much prefer to read the actual newspaper there seem fewer sellers this time and I stopped my subscription.

Here in our place, not many newspaper stand anymore. Convenient stores like 7-11, Circle K do sell newspapers but I wonder if they make good money from that. Most people including myself just read news online.

I read 3 newspapers daily mainly because the English of the writers is much better than the English online. Also most websites are mainly posting celebrity news which I am not interested in. Reading remains the best way to improve vocabulary.
