No, I am not a YouTuber. I feel it's difficult to make money on YouTube. One needs to be creative and should select something for which a video can be made I am not good at it but some people doing good and earning well from YouTube.
I think you posted the question the wrong way and you should have asked, How tough it is to make money through Youtube as its so hard to make money on Youtube and there is so much competition and then they are so strict and you need to work out of your skin to get your channel monetized and post unique content to be able to make some money from Youtube
On a general perspective and if it is not your thing and passion then it will not be all that easy to make money through YouTube.But even if you are not monetized you can still provide various ways of getting incentives through your services on YouTube.
You can place a donation button,you can offer exclusive services,you can place affilliate links and so on.Just be good at what you do.

Yes I totally agree with you, it's not easy to make money on Youtube. Need a very high dedication. If you want to work on Youtube easily, the minimum requirement is that you are a well-known public figure. In my country, it's easier for a well-known public figure to make money.
It's not in your country only here too celebrities get lots of views if they make their video and upload the same on YouTube and that's the reason I see lots of such videos these days of theirs on YouTube. Also on Instagram, I see their posts often.
