Is it really possible to mine cryptocurrency with a phone?

As far as I am concerned I heard that a nice crypto currency mining requires heavy equipment and consumption of much power. I don't consider mining of crypto currency through phone to be a waste of time.

For established crypto like Bitcoin, I don't know how possible it is mining with phone unless you're mining satoshis which has no good value. However tokens like Satoshi core and Pi can be mined on phone.

I wont advice to mine cryptocurrency most especially bitcoin with your phone because it could destroy the phone's hardware.

I tried it and earn some money from it. But finally after several month I realize that the earning process is too slow and what I am going to earn from there is much more less as I am going to lose in my smartphone.

Theoratically, it might be be possible but in a practical standpoint, it is not possible to mine crypto on your phone. It consumes a lot of resources and you might end up damaging your device.

For the profits offered by mining from a mobile device that are almost nil, and the possible risk that the device may have by involving it in such activity I think it is not worth it.
