Having differences in opinion in the workplace is normal and is not a bad thing as long as the disagreement is handled in a constructive manner. If everyone has the same thought, there will be no progress and wrong decision can be made easily.

Agree, conflicting opinion arises if there is no consensus yet during a particular meeting. There are always issues that are raised in a meeting that requires approval but the body, if not, the workers belong to a silent committee, come what may.

Yes it's completely normal to have different thoughts and ideas and even disagreements. I think it would even be a lot weirder if everyone agreed on everything. Remember everyone came from a different background and culture, so the way and manner in which they approach things would certainly be different. Its left for you to know how to work with them.
