Is Kucoin A Good wallet?

I have never heard about Ku Coin though. Does it allow for swapping from one type of cryptocurrency to another. Or you just have to trade it?

I have installed and yet to add crypto but I will do that very soon and try trading to see if I can make some profit

Yes I will do that and its better to learn as the fee would be higher for trading
It contains everything and you could earn free cryptocurrencies on your Kucoin wallet on your UID by providing the UID to Publish0X. Currently cash out 0.5 $ Ethereum and USDC and AMPL however SPOT wallet needs metamask installed.

It is not required to make withdraw request as per their guidelines sometimes even the non verified accounts still may withdraw but take your time for checking. It is good to verify everything before start.
The main purpose of crypto exchanges providing features for storing crypto is to make it easier for users to trade, so you can also use crypto exchanges as a wallet. And of course there is a difference that the private wallet has a private key, so the user has complete control.
Kucoin really is an exchange not a wallet, you can use it to store your assets there, although it is not the smartest if you ask me, unless you only have there a little just to diversify, since the exchanges in last stay are to buy, sell, exchange and trade.
