I dont think landline telephone calling is a good way to sell products nowadays. Most people prefer to use their cellphones or internet for communication and shopping. Landline calls can be annoying and intrusive for potential customers who might hang up or ignore them.

There are free apps to call like messenger, we can use this app right away once see our prospect online. We can also call anywhere and anytime unlike in a landline telephone installed in an office or at home.

Nowadays, it is more on messenger calling. Landline becomes obsolete though PLDT is still offering it on their internet package.

I still experience having offers from the PLDT agents. I always turn them down because I just only needed the Internet and nothing else. It has been a long time that I received any offers from other companies through landlines. It seems that they accepted that it is not a good way to use as their marketing strategy.

As much as possible, I do not entertain any calls from my Facebook messenger. I do believe that some of them call through our smartphones. It is a bad luck for them because I do not answer unknown numbers.

Advent of internet and smartphone have make landline obsolete and useless. I don't think is very enterprising to use landline to reach customers while we have instant messaging platforms like WhatsApp, Telegram. We can still use these platforms to make voice calls over internet at every lost costs.
