I think it's a good business for those who have capital to operate a lumber yard. Lumber doesn't depreciate but appreciate. They'll be seasoned if displayed under the heat of the sun. It serves for many purposes like building a house. What can you add?

Definitely, this is how to get repeated customers you just have to be efficient with the job.
It requires bigger capital unless sell through consignment. There are businesses like this receiving profit thru consignment. It's give and take idea to have volume sales.

Anything that appreciates and not depreciate should be known as a good business automatically so I can say that it is a lucrative business that we can engage in

Yes, true, it s a lucrative business and only those who can afford can build a business like this. It needs capital and a bigger space for the display of the lumber. The risk is when there is a fire. Hoping a lumber yard is insured.

That's true
It must not catch fire. The people doing the business should be extremely careful of fire

That is why it is very advisable to insure the property before fire eats them all. It is an unforeseen event and must be avoided or prevented.

That's true
We need insurance in our business so that they will be there if anything goes wrong
It is a must to avoid disparity of feeling and big losses. However, if the place is not prone to fire, say , it's far from the houses , then it could be safe despite uninsured.

A well-thought-out business strategy should precede any major choices concerning your lumber yard. What you intend to sell and other details about your business should be included. Make sure to consider your finances as well. I believe it is a lucrative business as carpentry and construction industries require lumber to build houses, etc.

That's indeed the feeling if losing millions due to fire. It's good to be wise and smart so that a case like that will be avoided.
I remember one time that we also experienced a fir outbreak close to my house, people lost their properties. Its so sad that they were watching it burn but they could not do anything than to cry for help

I think it depends. One of my friend's business in Isabela City, they cannot transport wood tiles now. It means they are greatly affected because illegal cutting of trees there.
