Is owning a gym a good business?

It is a good business in big cities in my country. You cannot succeed with this in middle class settlements because most of the young people have built their own improvised gyms at their bank yard.

Very true, same here most people who make use of the gym are does in GRA and the likes. People in lower classes do not really see any need in going to the gym, they consider it a waste of time.

Unfortunately the business can do well in only specific areas. However in the rural areas where the youths are found in larger numbers the business can't do well at all these ares.

Yes this business highly relies on location. For it to work, you need the right location, if not you would end up running in losses. Once you have been able to find the right location for the business, you would definitely make lots of profits.

The business has now skyrocketed with alot of people patronising the urge to become physically fit which has been triggered by the consumption of the inorganic and junk foods that cause unnecessary gaining of body weights.

You have a point though, in as much as the location matters a lot when it comes to the performance of the gym, management also plays a huge role as well.

In a matter of fact,. the gym must be located in a the densely populated areas, towns and urban centres to be precised seems to have a good market for the gym.

Gyms are not always overcrowded. So, I don't see this as a point in what's going to make you make money from gym.

This is very true. Most of them even have makeshift gyms with stones and benches at home. Gyms in my country are an exclusive for the elites as most average people won't want to spend money on gym fees.
