Is owning a security agency a good business?

Every office has a security guard/ s to protect the properties of the office or business, likewise protect the lives of the employees against robbery. Sometimes we hear a security guard shot on duty. All the guards are based on security agencies with licensed to operate. Would you agree or believe this is a good business for owning a security agency?

Yes its a good business and not every company can hire its own staff as they may not be qualified so having such agency will be useful

That is true, in the university where I work, there are 20 security guards, and lucky is the owner of the agency.

I think its better to own one such agency and you can hire all those retired from the Military etc but yes they may charge more but if you have good customers/ businesses that are willing to pay more for good work like what banks need then it will be better

It's not necessary to have a retired military to man a security agency it could be a licensed criminologist.

Security Guards in banks are mostly from Military background

Here it's not they prefer Licenced Criminologists with good trainings.

They're graduates of Bachelor of Science in Crimology. One will not be hired as a police not a graduate of this course.

Yes we have this course and I was once invited to teach in their Review center for the board exam at 400 pesos per hour, whole day.

I am not 100% sure as I have never checked but they need to pass the interview, test, training

It's not here in Philippines one must be a licenced criminologist with a height of 5'5 up or no height below 5/5.

Yes I am aware that they need to have a minimum height and it's applicable here too and this is why the training
