I promoted local talents before and found this business lucrative. What makes it lucrative? There are many sponsors responsible for selling the tickets for every show. Those ticket buyers dined while watching the live concert good for two (2) hours show. I usually hold concerts with a live band in our city and nearby towns. There is a talent fee for a band good for all members. They just shared among them the talent fee. There are also actual buyers. Per ticket price was at P 400 pesos. Tickets distributed to sponsors were good as sold. In return, they were advertised on TV, on FM stations, and in local magazines. You may try this business. If you are a true lover of music and have good local talents, then, why not try this business? The name of my business or promotion was DIAMOND PROMOTION.

Yes, so true, you can do it, just ask permit to hold a live band concert from your department of trade and industry and pay a little amusement tax. I enjoyed a lot the live concert of the famous local bands in our city. I enjoyed it a lot but I reduced my weight due to stress and practice.
Yeah you would surely lose weight because ruining around to make sure that everything is in place will take a toil on you.

I was also thinking of the diners or ticket holders if they would watch our show, sometimes only a few Rotarians watched, and the food was given to the band members for take home and I brought some too. The foods were so delicious.
Yeah I can smell the food from here lol. it is always good to go for what you believe in and know would work for you just like this one.

I was so interested to hold local connects because one of the local talents was my ex-bf.
His voice was a la Elvis Presley. I alp paid him per show but we were not meant to be . He cheated me and they are now in Melbourne, Australia working as the branch manager of Mcdonald's. But it is still good that you impacted his life and I'm sure he will not forget that for life. I'm sure you also benefitted in a way too. Yes, that is right. I had a net profit of 80,000 a month. I only did it for straight 4 years, one dinner shows once in every 3 months to prepare for the streamers, tickets, shooting, and poster.
If you engage in promoting talent, then you're going to make huge profits.

Yes, I made a huge profit despite it's risky for there are sponsors that do not pay. I just apply what I could do to pay the local talents and the rent for the venue.
Promoting local talents could be a great way to make money and increase your sales as well. Unfortunately, the local talent may go away from your country if there are no employment opportunities in your country.
There are several platforms that does this business and they never regretted doing it.

You are so right, but for local talents, there will be sponsors from the rotary club, the YMCA, a group of lawyers, businesses, and city officials. In return, they will be advertised in TV, in newspapers, and in local magazines.
