True, as long as the fault is not from them and it's from you. This is the best choice of action to take. Cause in this state any wrong move could make you loose the customer completely.
Not just you losing the customer but you getting a bad name. Ethically, if the fault is from you, you just have to take the loss and replace for the customer. Some of the hard sacrifices we make in business.

When a customer has suffered significant losses and it is the fault of the organization. You don't have a choice but to compensate them.
That's right, I agree with you. Companies must provide appropriate compensation for losses incurred by customers due to poor company services, for example by providing free replacement of new products/services. So that they forgive the company's mistakes and remain loyal customers.

That's true, having a bad name attached to your business would definitely damage the image of the business and even sales in general. Nobody would want to deal with a place that has a bad review.
