Well I don't think Kraken itself can do much without violating any laws, since it is also an entity that is regulated in the state of Wyoming in the United States as a bank, so they could violate various laws if they do misusing of your data.
I have an account on the Kraken exchange but it has been inactive for a long time. Kraken is a trusted and safe crypto exchange, it has never been hacked. have a proof-of-reserves audit so that users have more confidence in storing their funds.

You will not regret using kraken, it is my favorite exchange so far it is really safe and it is the oldest exchange of all which shows that it is solvent and with a lot of experience.

Kraken exchange has been having rave reviews within the cryptocurrencies community . I don't use it though but it is highly recommended.
