Labor Union in a workplace

May I know if there is a labor union in your workplace? In my workplace, someone initiated to register at a labor union in the city. The sole reason is to protect the rights and privileges of the workers especially if there is a certain worker kicked out from work without due process. It will be the labor union to fight the injustice of the workers. The labor union is composed of lawyers who are working under the government. A labor union in my country is mandatory so anyone deprived of rights can seek justice through a labor union that is if he is a member. I am a member of a labor union and ot is free. In fact, one can apply solo not with a group of workers. Is there a labor union in your country?

When I had a job in a large company, the company had a labor union for workers and a association for other staff. In these companies all employees are treated properly only in the internet sector, slavery continues.

Some employers don't allow the unionism in their workplace. They are scared that it would give too much power to employees. They believe in divide and Rule. My employer doesn't like unionism.

In my country we also have the labour union, they are usually in charge of the welfare of workers, though most times they are not so active as you would expect them to be.

It is true that there are offices and companies that do not advocate labor unions. The management is afraid. They expect the power of the labor union if found guilty of abuse of the workers.

In my country, one can apply solo in the labor union. I never had joined a labor union. Companies do not allow it.

In where I work, we belong to different professional bodies and my company has no problem with that because they are transparent.

I am also afraid to join a labor union. There were labor union members who opposed the new salary rate and only the employees with the highest EQ were granted an increase, so they made a strike, but they were not regular employees, so they were kicked out.

It is only top professionals that are organized that are allowed to have labour unions and are still employed. Most employers hate labour unions.

If the company has a huge capital in billions, like multi-national companies, there's always a labor union for all members or workers.
