I also respect th we ir hustle because there are times that our slippers will get spoilt on the road but we have only them to save us.

Getting money by being a traveling shoe mender in my country is very rare. Shoe mender usually rent stalls for their business premises, this is also rare. I also don't get it, maybe because people are more interested in buying new shoes if their shoes are already worn out. As for me, I can fix it myself with glue or a shoe sewing tool.
