Managing a paid to post forum is not easy. You must have a good adsense running on your platform. You must also be able to promote your site in order to have traffic.

Monetising is the first thing to do as that's the way a site is going to get funds to reward the members.

Do you mean to have a paid to post forum? If that is what you mean then you will have to budget up to $1000

I don't really know much about this aspect, but i do not think running a forum, especially a paid to post forum is extremely easy. You would also have to consider the fact that you would need mods who would work for you, and most of the admins on these paid to post forums usually have other jobs beside this.

I think it depends on the warning limit of the platforms. Thst can give you an idea of how much you can use to manage it

The problem with starting a paid-to-post forum is that it could vary on how much you would need to start out. At first, unless you have enough high-quality content you will not be able to use a service like Google Adsense which could generate revenue for your forum. Secondly, it would also be knowing how many people would jump on your site to post for the incentive, if you were to get a high influx of users, would you have enough to pay them without any other form of income generating on the site?

$150 would be ideal if your forum starts small and you are able to offer a good incentive for people to post without going over budget but I would definitely be sure to have a little more put aside incase you go over budget.

You can make good money off it but running a forum, especially a paid to post forum is not easy. You would also have to consider a lot of things like having your money to pay users to kick start it better

Its not an easy thing as you need to have good amount of money to pay users at first because you won't be earning from very first day

Its a challenging way to earn online but I guess they do make profits and just look at mylot even they are making good money

You need funds to pay your members for at least 6 months. That's the time it takes to build traffic and revenue. Even when you are using AdSense, it is really difficult to earn

I totally disagree, unless you want your site to die a quick death. To start PTP, you must have like $2000 for a start.

Based on whatever I have just read from here is that, it's not that easy to run a paid to post forum. However a very high initially capital of at least $5000 is needed for kick-starting of the business.
