I feel like nowadays people are only dating because of money. If you ask someone what type of person they want money is a requirement.
Honestly I also agree on that since it is difficult to survive and stay happy when you are broke.

Money is important and one of the important things we need for survival but for dating, love, or marriage we shouldn't consider this as it cannot buy happiness
