For me, I am more focused on what I might gain than on what I might lose when negotiating. I am sure some businessmen are not willing to take the risk of losing things when it comes to business. Business is business per se, and it is not to be lost because of taking risks. It is a win-win situation, I should say.

You are right. I cannot deal with the break-even principle. It is not a good thing to be in this kind of situation. Gaining is what we really need in dealing with out target clients.

During negotiation, you have to know your bottom line. Try to get the most out of the negotiation. You must be prepared to make some compromises and achieve a win-win scenairo.

I think every entrepreneur is about to gain more and more profits on the business. However there are losses that are associated in the business too. Therefore one must be determined to gain more than loosing.

In every business transaction, we do need to be always prepared. As much as possible, we need to target gaining more than losing more when it comes to business.

We all go into businesses for profit making or the purpose of gaining, I'm not saying I would like to loss while negotiating, but there are times were we have to in order to get our customers satisfied

When you are going into a negotiation without the idea that you might lose a little bit, it is not even necessary to enter the negotiation because it would end up being chaotic.

I am learning so much before I start my own business, and one thing I will do is to acknowledge that sometimes, making that sale at no profit is better for the business than loosing the customer.

That's right I agree with you. Indeed, the purpose of negotiating is to benefit from the business. If the negotiation loses, it is likely that the company will suffer a loss. Therefore, for negotiations, a reliable negotiator is needed.

One time I tried negotied better work hours for me but boss didn't accept my offer. Other were surprised since rule is to workers how come earlier get better conditions. Short term was lose for me, long term was lose for them.

You just have to make sure that you are not going to lose even after you make your negotiation and it's better not to agree with the customer when you know that you're going to lose money

Play it wisely. Some bosses don't like negotations since everybody will later request something. Sometimes boss can get angry and fire you. Also if negotiate something better than others, don't tell everybody.

You are right because some people will negotiate in a way that they will benefit from it but the seller will not benefit from it and that is why it would should go to calculate whatever it is you want to do

In my regular work for long term investment I choose programming since as teacher in 4 years I will lose half work hours. I can change school before that but I don't want work in school entire life as main work.
