You are right some lateness would also affect the person that you should take over from because if you are not there the person can't leave.

Some persons start their business as early as 7am or 8am, while there are others who start between 9 and 10am, giving their staff enough time to sort out their personal activities before coming to work. What time do you think its the best for a business to open officially for the day.

I think the opening hours of a business really depend upon the type of business or the type of field the businessman is in. For example, if it’s a privately run clinic, the timings could be according to the doctors schedule, however, if it’s a fast food chain or a grocery store, it needs to be open most hours of the day. This is why it is difficult to exactly judge the timings that are more suitable for various businesses.

Not all businesses and offices start at the same time. Malls in my city open at 9:00 in the morning and end at 8 in the evening. Other malls start at 10 o" clock in the morning. But offices officially start at exactly 8 in the ring and the employees need to log in.

Agree because all businesses have their different target customers and they prefer to find a fixed time like for offices the time is 10-6 or 9-5

I do think that it depends on what working place do people work in. In hospitals, health workers need to start at 8 AM and it also varies if they nurses or not. In my country, malls usually work at 9 AM and it has been the standard time for the employees to follow in years now.

The official opening hours in Nigeria is 8.00am. Though every businesses is at discretion to decide its official opening and closing hours. But government offices open by 8.00am and close by 4.00pm.

It depends on the business because there are some business that opens in the afternoon and close late at night like bar business

The opening hours for the business literally depends on the type of the business in question. For instance the hotel business must be opened very early in the morning like 4-5 am while the bar and restaurants can be opened at 1-2 pm in the afternoons.
