In my location, garbage collectors are hired by Management Office of the Apartment Complex. We pay a monthly management fee. The service provided by management include garbage collection, repair work at public places such as the lobby area, and cleaning.

My mum also pays a management fee in our shop so that people will be able to sweep the place and tidy it up

It is not done privately in my country. The waste management is being practiced in my city. Garbage collectors are the ones who pick them up from house to house here.

A private person can also start this business. You don't need to register any company. No documentation. And you would not be needing too many fancy equipment. It is a very simple business to start.

We have goverment company which collect garbage and we pay for it. We should do some sorting like paper, plastic and rest of it. Private companys can't go in this sector yet.

I remembered few years ago when this private disposal business was introduced in Lagos, Nigeria. The idea then was to make the state appeared neat and healthy.
