A prototyping milestone in software development is a point in the project where a working prototype of the software is created.

This prototype is typically used to demonstrate the basic functionality of the software and gather feedback from stakeholders before the final version is developed.

The prototype may not have all of the features of the final software, but it should provide a clear representation of the overall design and user experience. It also can be used for testing and validation before finalizing the product.

I am not a developer, however, as a user, I believe the developer should allow people to beta testing and get feed back on the software. The developer can then implement genuine suggestions.
