For me l have never fallen a victim for that but l have seen do many people here in my location suffering losses for that matter.
I have witnessed that someone buying a property that had already been sold to someone else.

My uncle has been a victim of real estate scam. A land was sold to him by someone who was not the original owner.
I became a real estate scam victim. I decided to visit the property, but the owner stopped responding as soon as she learned about my visit. Although she had answered my call earlier, it seemed like she was just playing games and had no real intention of renting out the place.
Have you paid any amount for that? Sorry for your experience and these sort of things are happening from a long time and we need to be careful and mindful about these
Real estate scams are very common. Most of the real estate scams usually involve documentation. Apart from that, many real estate agents can also misguide people to earn commissions and exploit the investor.
There are many reasons why real estate industry is full of scammers. Many people never verify the claims made by real estate agents and this is why they get scammed easily.
I must admit that real estate business is not regulated properly in many countries and my country is one of them. This is why real estate scams are very common in my country, unfortunately.
