Receiving online payment in wife's /girlfriends name

Most men have full time jobs in good companies and are getting a very good salary. Since their employer may object to receiving payment from other sources, some of them receive payment in their wife/girlfriends name. Is it a common practice for online income in your country?

No, I don't let the online earnings be transferred to my wife's account. It hardly matters because I don't even have a good amount of money online so it doesn't affect the tax also my boss cannot know from where I am getting the money in my account.

This might lead to problem because I know of a man that used his wife name and when he was asked to verify the account, that is where the problem came and he was unable to do so and he lost all his earnings

I don't think it's possible in my country. You can only receive payment into an account bearing your official names. However it's possible with online businesses.

You can use paypal of anyone to receive your payment as long as you trust them and users from Nigeria also does that

Yes, it is common everywhere. Men used to get payment in other's name.

Many companies do not allow their employees to do freelancing work and in some cases, have access to their bank account transactions including payment, so some people open an account in the name of their wife and receive payment.

Receiving in payment in another person account name is bad. You won't have absolute control over that account in case of financial errors.

Yes we can use the account of others to receive PayPal money but not someone living in Nigeria. The person must reside in a PayPal accepted country.

I think it is legal, that is what we call an allotment for the family. It also happens here in my country to those who work abroad, they are required to send 75% of their income to their wife or family.

I don't have a problem with that. It is all about the trust and the terms you people had agreed on. I don't have trust issue. I find it easy to do business with people.
