Religion is the most lucrative business

I have come to believe that religions are well orchestrated commercial enterprises. They generate funds in many ways and are acting like incorporated companies.

The good thing about religion as a business is that the sector is completely immune from scrutiny. No one asks too much questions about it and they are not taxed.

I would not take preaching as a business. The purpose of preaching is to share the wisdom of the gospel and to inspire people how to live in meaningful way.

Exactly, this is the main purpose, it's a pity this generation has turned it into something else these days.

So many people are building big commercial conglomerates that are based on religion. It is more pronounced in christendom.

The even build those religious estates and end up handing them over to their children. Same as a typical business.

The funny part is that religious leaders have failed to agree that they are running a business empire but they keep making profits.
