I don't really think that renting of generator as a business is something that is going to go very well in most cases because a lot of people have their own generator at home which makes it difficult for them to go and rent what they already own.

It really depends on the area you live in and whether or not a generator would be needed quite frequently for businesses or even parties and the like. If it's somewhere where power outages are quite common then a generator business would be great and profitable but if it's somewhere that doesn't get many outages, it is highly likely your business will not be as profitable in your area.

But the person should not only engage in renting generators. He can add other things to it too.

It is not a good business for me. I hate the sound of the generator, so noisy. There are users of a generator here in lieu of current but they bought it not rented from a rent business.

There are times when we experience black out for some time and that's why most big houses have generator and others have inverters and most of the industries own generators because they cannot afford to stop production.

You can't do anything in Nigeria without making provisions for an alternative source of power. Churcues, businesses añd every sector has need for power generators. Renting it out for people who don't have is a great business.
