Requirements for Using Metamask Wallet?

There are some coins one will buy on decentralized exchanges that can only be stored on wallets like Metamask and Trust wallet.
With the recent FUD around exchanges, more people want to use wallets.
For a new user, is there any requirements to sign up for a new wallet, like basic personal information or such?

Well I do not think there is anything special one had to do to be able to sign up and make use of metamask wallet which is something that in other centralized wallets has one doing a kyc because I can't remember if I did such.

When we register or signup we don't need personal data, although currently many wallets ask for kyc for legality from the government, but for metamask, trust wallets and atomic wallets they don't ask for personal data.

I don't think you would need a NYC for wallets. It is not necessary since you are only keeping the crypto there and not using it to do exchange. KYC is anti fraud measure.

The last I checked, Meta Mask wallet is a browser extension wallet and it would need a browser so you can be able to install the wallet extension. It's security is fairly good with 2FA authentication.

Currently, there is the Metamask mobile app, which you can download on the PlayStore, making it easier and you can use it anywhere. If you already have a Metamask wallet account, you only need to log in using a passphrase.

There are not many requirements to open a Metamask account, you simply need to download the app or download the browser extension and open an account and copy your seed phrase and save it.

I don't think it is very hard and anyone who does not have an account before does not need to import his seed phrase because he does not have one yet

No man, it is not difficult, it really is very simple, and in fact you do not need to export your seed phrase if you have not had any metamask before, what I said is that when you open the account in metamask, copy the seed phrase for example on a piece of paper and save it.

After much deliberation I have come to terms that I want a metamask wallet, I think this wallet will help me with some of the crypto coins that I am always sceptical about keeping. Such as Ethereum. I was Hodling most of my Etheruem in a Blockchain wallet and I seem to have had a challenge with login the wallet for some weeks now.

So I will continue watching this thread and see more people sharing their experiences in this thread. Glad that this wallet is not demanding some KYC but I am looking forward to my user experience.

Currently Metamask wallet users can also convert crypto to fiat money or vice versa, but I personally have not tried this feature because this feature is still valid in the US and parts of Europe, but Metamask will expand the use of this feature.

There is no requirements for using Metamask wallet. Just need Chrome extension. If you want using Metmask crypto to fiat exchange you must have SEPA account.

Reading through the comments that are being shared on this subject matter, I am glad that a lot of people are enjoying using Metamask.@Suba does it work on a mobile device as well? The current PC that I am using is a chromebook315. I have not had a good experience on the PC but hopefully, I can upgrade as soon as possible. So does it work on a mobile device?

You can use Metamask wallet as a browser extension or mobile app. You need to remember your keys in order to access your wallet. It is a web 3 wallet, therefore, you do not need KYC to use it.

l don't think that there are so much requirements to be done so that they can be able to use the metamask wallet whatsoever in that matter. Only the KYC is required for that matter.
