Running an internet cafe

Running an internet cafe used to be extremely lucrative back in the days. People usually go there to carry out various activities on the internet. Would you still startup an internet cafe?
Personally i would not want to startup this business cause i feel it would not be as lucrative as it used to be. In our present day, almost everyone had access to the internet so most might not be willing to go to an internet cafe.

That's right, now internet cafes are no longer as popular as they used to be. Except for people who don't have a computer in their house yet, there are some types of work that can't be done with a smartphone.

I don't think it will be a popular business nowadays but you can still try and also sell cakes and pastries

Yes, I think the internet cafe business is now less desirable. Unless you are opening sideways for services, be it photo editing services, graphic design services, photo/document printing services, document typing services, etc.

This business is still profitable but no longer lucrative here i would like or want to startup this business cause i will still gain but I will add other things to it.

It is no more an internet cafe as it used to be back in the days where people go to browse. It is more of a computer center and people go there to do what they can't do on phones.

The business is still very profitable in my location. This is because most people are seeking computer services like printing, scanning digital passport photos and sending of documents for sure.

Not worth anymore. Now everybody have smartphones and wifi is every so every body can browse using phones. Even gamers caffes are not popular if you don not organize game tournamenths between players.

Yes it is still very profitable but you have to add other services like book and computer services which could be printing, typing of documents or files or even scanning digital stuff

The concept of buying time to browse doesn't exist again. What we barely have are computer services shop that offer typing services, printing and photocopy services.

Internet cafes are businesses that was so much in vogue in the early 2000s. I don't think such a business can thrive any longer. What we have now is e centers that institutions hire and use for e exams.

The smartphone is the revolution that drove internet cafes out of business. Then came further innovations in the smartphone that made it a mini computer. You can virtually do anything you would do in a Cafe with a phone. That's why the business has gone extinct.

Running an internet cafe is not a bad idea when you have the market to yourself.
But the thing I don't like about it is that there is a lot of competition

Running an internet cafe was more feasible before than now. I sometimes go to an internet cafe in my neighborhood, and it does not have as many people as it used to.

Its a good business but these days I don't see its profitable as everyone has phone and internet so it may not work as planned but still its not a bad business

Internet caffes are not as popular as they used to be most people already have laptop or something like that and they can do most of the things on their smartphones

This business still exists anywhere? I don't tend to see it again. Internet has been commercialized and made affordable to the common man. Those that did the business cashed out at the time it was in vogue.

That was my business before in 2012 up to 2016. At first, it was lucrative. I had 25 computers and 3 workers but time . But my internet cafe business has many competitors and customers were divided and in the last year before I sold it, most people own their own internet and cellular phones internet connection, so no more internet cafes in the city, except in malls for foreigners to use.

Due to hacking, many people do not have printers at home, so they will usually go to an internet cafe to take printouts and get xeroxes of paper documents. The customers do not access the computer.

Internet caffe business used to be the best business in my city, there were so many caffe in one area, as I remember when I was entering in one caffe I found it completely fill then I was trying other one but now this business is collapsed it is completely finished from here.
