Save money on cooking gas by generating your own Biogas.

I am not sure if I can do this. If I am not going to use a regular biogas, I would rather replace it with an electric stove.

The only problem with making use of electric stove is that it consumes a lot of electricity points that is going to give you high bill today.

Well, there are many people who have been suffering from the shortage of gas as we experience this a lot in our country. However, creating your own biogas seems like a great idea. However, I do not have any experience in this regards.

It is possible to generate power from biogas and I have seen these plants available in villages but haven't seen if how they work but I know its effective and cheap

I don't know why the biogas technology is not yet mainstream. Maybe those in tier 1 countries like @riberet19 can tell us what is going on since they are the pushers of major breakthroughs. Is it adopted in developed countries?

Here in my country it is still not very fashionable, although the government encourages us to transition to cleaner energies, it is really quite expensive usually to transition to other renewable energies, perhaps in the future there will be more adoption if it becomes cheaper.

Biogas is gotten from normal everyday waste. Just put the waste in an airtight container and leave it there for some days. Methane gas would build up.

Find a way to trap out the gas and connect to you burner/cooker for cooking.

You are very right with this, animal dungs can also be used for building up gas, but this process is more stressful and lot if people don't use this . bug can a person go through this process and later sell out the gas to those that need it?

It is a good initiative and I have seen some YouTube videos about it. I have even seen the kits on sale on Ali Express. It looks pretty simple but I believe there are technicalities that are still being addressed before global adoption.
