Yeah sure some areas lack water so they survive on this bolehole water. It is a clean source of water.
I can imagine so yes if there is a shortage of one thing then it can surely be used to make money from it

Sure people that can afford it are making money off it I know that a lot of them are digging the second one to still make money off it
Government should be ashamed of it. They are not doing anything to provide even for basic things

No in Nigeria it is a good source of income. it is present in almost all streets in the urban centres.

Yeah the government have refused supply us water so we are giving ourselves water through the boreholes provision
For places that have water scarcity, that can be a really great option. Only issue is whether the water is even minimally consumable. However different seasons throughout the year would cause water supply to differ. So, earnings made by selling borehole water, might not be a constant one.
That must be very frustrating then. I can imagine it when sometimes the water is not supplied and we have to arrange water from somewhere else.

Not just frustrating but very annoying. But I'm happy that we have another avenue to source for clean water.
Oh that is nice. Do they purify it? It should be really clean from down the hole. I have seen a YT Vlog from a Filipino worker in Equatorial Guinea about the locals who are using the water from the well for drinking.

Yeah the water is always very clean but that should not stop you from stilling boiling it to drink
Not necessary that it is pure if it is extracted below the earth. We have lots of submersible pumps here but the water they take out is not worth drinking, it is filtered and then used for drinking.

Sure we need more of fresh water than salty water and this is what borehole water tends to supply
Due to our poor electrical system in Nigeria, there are times where people do not have access to light for days hence they not be able to pump water. I know of someone who lets people fetch from his compound but they usually pay a fee per bucket.
