In our parts most people have swords in their house and they resemble power and strength and it's also given as gift to people and in marriages too the Groom carries a sword so it's a good business at least in India.

This is so interesting. I understand that it must be a very profitable business in your country. Unfortunately, in my country swords are not sold.

That is my point exactly, this is one business that isn't common where o am but I know it will not be competitive as people hardly go into it, it might be profitable.

How would it be profitable when the people you are supposed to sell to see you and they start  running. It doesn't just work in Nigeria. Sword is not a farm tool.

Swords are not used in farming but these are used as a weapon and for protection and yes in our parts it's common to buy these and I feel it's a good business

The location would be the defining factor in this line of business. In my location this is not a lucrative business, you would even make more sales selling cutlass than an actual sword over here.

Selling of swords can only function as a part of tools business. It won't work alone because it is not a everyday utility product.

In western world this business will not grow or even survive, because most of the people are not aware of it's use. In subcontinent it has good scope.
