I believe it is a good business to start in a location with both rainy and summer seasons.
This is good. In my country, the sun is too hot in the summer, so we need umbrellas or we wear hats when we go out of the house.
I don't think it's a good business to sell umbrellas alone. I don't think a person can survive if he/she starts a business selling it as I feel there is seasonal demand for it. Yes, people also use it on sunny days but it is not very much in use.
Okay then we have a mild weather here in the south south of my country so I'm enjoying it already.
Umbrellas are always in season, never off season. People need umbrella during summer because of the heat. When it is rainy season, people will need umbrella. People can buy anytime in their current season. Given that all got their umbrellas, that's the only time the business will stop.
Umbrella business is a potential and promising business. Umbrellas are very useful, especially for pedestrians when it's hot or rainy. But to be successful, or to be able to reach your sales targets, you have to work hard, especially the target market, all people or only for the middle and upper economic class, besides that you also need promotions, especially on social media.

True, but you should also consider the fact that not everyone values the use of umbrella. Most persons find carrying one as a burden cause they could easily forget it. I think it would be best to make proper research first before going into this line of business.
