Yes it is always to save a percent even if it is a saving as little as 10% it wouldn't be a bad idea. Just be saving your earnings even with financial constraints

I usually don't eat in restaurants, I eat at home which can save me alot of money.

That's the right thing to do if you want to save money you should try to eat at home. you would eat more food at home at less money

Whenever I receive my salary I would always allocate some percentage to my savings account. Though it is very small because of the huge expenses. But it will grow with good time..
