The two are sources of passive income. And they provide income to a person even without doing anything.

Would you prefer to buy shares or rather invest in real estate? Why would you stick with one against the other?

They both are good options for investment and passive income. And one can take a decision based on the amount they have to invest. Real estate is a costly affair and one needs to have good money to put there. Earning passive income with a huge loan liability is not preferable. One can start investing in shares with little savings at hand. If one has enough, one can diversify and invest in both.

I think that although the two are quite different from each other, I think that the most profitable is the real estate if you know how and where to invest definitely, I think that it gives results before than the stock market

I'm already involved in both shares and real estate and I can tell you that I'm more relaxed with my real estate investment.
I am on the same page. We have Investments in both real estate and shares. Our two houses are on rent while we live in the third one. We are getting good passive income from the rent money without much of hassles and follow up. When you invest in share, you have to follow the market and keep a track.. Also, shares have more risk involved than real estate.

I think that real estate market would be much better when it comes to investing money. This is because real estate market always flourish, even during inflation period.

I think real estate is a better option but investment in real estates requires a lot of money. For investment in stocks, you just need a small amount of money.

Yes you are right, but you have to know very well when to buy exactly to get good benefits, since doing it at the wrong time can make you wait too long to cover the main investment.

They both are good options for passive income. The difference is in buying a property you need to invest a huge amount of money in one go whereas in shares you can invest your money in parts and the investment has risks as the rate of shares fluctuates very fast.

That is entirely dependent on how much cash you have to invest and what your objectives are. Investing in stocks can yield a better rate of return, but it is also more volatile and risky. Real estate investing may give a more reliable income stream, but it frequently costs more cash to get started. Finally, before choosing on which sort of investment is best for you, evaluate your goals, risk tolerance, and available finances.

Shares:

If purchased carefully, it may produce a high return on investment. It is liquid, which means it can be quickly sold for cash.
Diversifiable, with the ability to invest in a variety of firms and sectors

Real Estate:

Provides a measurable asset
Rental income and long-term appreciation potential
More management and effort are required.

The decision between the two would be influenced by a person's financial objectives, risk tolerance, and investment experience. Before making a decision, it is critical to conduct research and examine all relevant variables.

Do you invest in shares? I have started it recently and I am not gaining any profit as of now but I am sure I will start getting it soon.
My investment is share in the cooperative which gives me a guaranteed income of not less than 5 percent in a year. On top of that whatever is my share I can borrow it and part of the interests I paid comes back to me in the form of patronage refund.

Shares obviously involve more risk than real estate but then are easy to be cashed out if you need money. It's easier to liquidate. The higher the risk, the more might be the profit. People who have low risk appetite go for real estate. It might not give huge profits like shares( in some cases it does), but the risk involved is least. Real estate prices mostly appreciate. However, liquidating it at time of emergency fund need might not be very easy.

I think shares are more volatile and risky than real estate. For me, I feel real estate doesn't depreciate or liquidate easily except for very strange circumstances.
