It is unethical and shows lack of trust in each other. In a loving relationship there is no need for it
Checking someone's phone without consent shows a lack of respect and can irreparably damage the foundation of the relationship. I believe partners should respect each other's personal devices and have the maturity to discuss issues directly.
I think this is unethical. You are intruding the privacy of your partner. I would be very angry if my partner is doing this to me. It shows lack of respect and trust.
I agree. It is really a turn off for anyone to check the phone's of a partner, especially if they are not married yet.

It is only people that are unexposed that go about snooping on their partner's mobile phones. Such a person is the definition of toxicity.
I agree with being in this kind of relationship. It can be tagged as toxic and unhealthy.
It means you do not trust your partner, trust is something that needs to be part of the relationship. Then again if one of the partners decides to cheat, then they have broken that trust as well.
Trust in your partner is essential for a healthy relationship. Constantly checking your partner's phone because of a lack of confidence can damage the relationship and may not last long.
