Should music be allowed in an office?

Personally i think music can be allowed in an office, the most important thing is that it should not be too loud that it would end up distracting the workers. Playing cool music can make the place a little bit more lively and even give your customers excitement, especially when they hear their favorite music.

There is no music in my workplace. If someone plays for music, it must be made sure only her ears can hear. Music is disrupting and no one can concentrate well especially if the music is sentimental.The mood will be affected.

Well this would depends on the kind of environment and the workplace if it is one that can accommodate coo music. then I don't see any problems with that provided it is low volume.

My opinion in this is that music in not necessary to be included in offices. What l back up for is the need for a television for the sake of accessing of news.

There's no music in our office but there's a flat screen TV but it will me on during lunch time only from 12 nn to 1:30.The sound is very low. Sometimes it's muted.

It depends on the profile of the employees and the type of music played. If some employees are distracted or disturbed by the music, it is better not to play the music.

Personally speaking i really really like music and i really want to listen when i work especially when i am working something hard listening music will make my hard work easy and it motivates me to work more and harder, and i think it is not a bad idea to let workers listen music.

Well, that's a personal interest and not everyone does when working , you might just use an headphone so as not to distract others that won't be able to work in that kind of situation.

True since listening a personal need and personal right it is mandatory to respect other coworkers right to, so if we need to listen any kinds of music or podcasts its better to use or do it with earphone.

It depends on the kind if people who are your colleagues. If they're easily distracted, please drop the music so that they can work. If everyone has his personal workspace, you can play your music in your own workplace if it doesn't distract you too.

In an office I think that we don't need to welcome music there it's going to make people who work before you to be distracted rather music need to be playing at home

True, like myself i really don't mind, as long as its not that loud, it helps me work, but then again it also depends on the kind of music being played. There are so that just sounds like noise to my ears.
