Should there be age restriction in paid to post?

I think it is good to set a minimum age to join a forum. Accepting members at least 13 years old is reasonable. They should be able to post quality content.

At the time of registration there is a column where one has to state one's age. And if one is less than 13 I do not think that application will be taken up at all in most cases. I have yet to come across a Site where kids are permitted to have an account

What for? according to me anyone that reaches the age for taking an identity card is free from associating themselves on different online activities of their choice so long as they are engaged in legit deals.

I quite agree that we need to be technical on the way we welcome those that are below the adult age because they are at risk in the online space.There are some activities or tasks that require an identity card or drivers licence.I think in most cases it is way too limiting for a person who does not have an id or drivers licence to work uninterrupted on a forum.

I think a 13-year old kid can make money by participating in different forum websites. Of course, some forum websites that are meant for adults must not allow children to join.
