For me l don't recognise the video gaming as a career as such because l don't see it as reliable as a good career ought to be one for that matter.
True but lots of awareness are being made these days. These pro gamers take video gaming as a professional sport. They even have their own kind of trainings and the likes to ensure they are in top shape for their games. Most people see it as just a game, but to them it's more than that.

If you are very good at playing different kinds of games, if you are communicative, if you can create video content around games, you can easily build a career in video games.

True that there's immense amount of stress that comes with pursuing this career path. It's not just about playing games all day, it requires dedication, perseverance, and the ability to handle criticism gracefully. It can be challenging to stay composed when faced with negative feedback or harsh criticism from others. But at the same time, it's important to remember that constructive criticism can also help us grow and improve our skills.

A known University in the Philippines is offering a BS course. I think this is because they have seen streamers earned huge amount of money in streaming and vlogging their games. And others are representing the country in the international sports.
The course is called BS ESports.

I won't call it a career in the real sense but it is an earning program that people use to earn money online. Same way forum posting can't be called a career.

videos gaming should never be considered as career it's a game of chances that requires luck for you to earn so it's better you learn a skill that can fetch you money

Before, I used to think gaming was just a hobby, but I have a friend that turned pro and now he's making lot of money. It's definitely a real job but it requires a lot of hard work and dedication as well.

As a gamer myself, it is very possible to make money and I can really attest to this fact. But,let's be real, it's not a traditional career path.

It depends because if you are able to earn a decent amount in a month that can pay all bills and helps you save money too and you are consistent with it

I had seen gamers claimed to be earning decent. Although it is still not a job, unless if you are a game tester.
