Small Grocery Stores, Vendors Will be Out of work in 15 years?

In India majority of the people have Small Grocery stores and some are even doing this from their home to earn their living but looking at the competition and pricing by the stores like Amazon, Jio, Walmart I don't think these small stores will go out of work in 15 years and they need to find other ways to earn.

I totally disagree because Amazon, Walmart don't give people stuffs on credit. Some of these small vendors give their customers things on credit basis. Again, Amazon and Walmart are made for rich and comfortable buyers who can afford to buy anything. These small vendors will still exist.

These days most of these websites have started buy now pay later service so it's possible to get credit online too and slowly we can see downfall of these small vendors

I may be wrong though but i do not think it is possible for small stores to go out of business completely. No matter the level of competition these other stores would bring to the table, people would still choose to shop at these small stores.

You could be right but I think if they have very less business then they won't be able to survive

In my country, it is not possible to remove them yet. Most Filipinos are still having them as their main source of income.

Small grocery stores would grow to bigger ones if there is enough capital and I don't think that such kind of business would go to extinction.

There are still rural areas in my country. This area will still be there in 15 years. We're even encouraging small and medium scale. businesses.

I think small stores may still exist in some rural areas. They can sell to the local community there. I also know some small stores in urban areas offering specialized imported foods such as high grade beef from Japan and snacks from various countries. They have many customers.

I don't know the basis of your examinations and analysis but I will put it straight that it is not possible for small groceries to close down even in the next 30 years because it is a viable business that will stand the test of time.

There are so many people who involved in selling groceries and some of them have been in this business for over decades and it is indicating that in the next 15 years, it will grow better.

This is still a long time for any one to learn other things that will fetch them money you just have to keep being creative, developing yourself and looking for new jobs.

It's a possibility because these days we can order groceries online and can get these delivered to our house in 20-30 mins in good packing and many times at discounts so the business of local stores is at risk

I am with you on this concern. I do believe that grocery stores would still be existing in the future. For the reason that people need to have the sources of dry goods.

Personally I don't see it happening as well because if it is something that the government will force to happen, there is definitely going to be a lot of chaos in the community.

These small grocery stores are the life wire of the common man. They are the ones that can offer personalized support for a customer based on their peculiar situations. And they are certain things to u don't buy online.
