You are right. They need to target there audience to those that will be there customers
Not all sellers knows much about the product they are marketing, i have once bought a wrong product under the store owner's proscription, she claim that it's the perfect substitute of what I intend buying at first which was out of stock then. I later figured that her marketing strategy is to package/praise the product in the most convincing way.
I understand. Many sellers try to sell their products by praising them without even knowing much about them but this is not the correct way.
Yes it's not the right market strategy as in most cases the customers might be discouraged from patronizing the business provided he/she experienced something related to mine but the strategy is very effective.
I understand. I am also a seller and I have been having loyal customers for years now. I never persuade them to buy my items. I let them free to decide whether to buy a product or not.
The sales person must have a good knowledge of the product, target the right customers, have good communication skills and be patient and persistant.
Also be honest. Let people know you with integrity. Have good customer care ability and be able to promote your products to the public.
There are so many teams involved in selling things and it is highly important to get yourself involved in a very good and viable business.
This is extremely on point!! One has to know the in and out of the product he or she intends to market to the public, and be eager to answer any kind of question that may arise from your potential customers, and also be willing to give a listening ear to them.
