Starting a New Forum or Buying an Existing forum which is better?

It depends on your goals though, both have their advantages and as well disadvantages. Buying an existing forum means you there is already an existing flow of traffic so you do not have to dwell on that.

Its better to go with new forum at least for me because that way you can start from scratch and can start promoting it on different PTP

I prefer to buy an existing one. You save some efforts to create awareness of the forum in the market. You also have an existing user base. You can always think of creative and effective ways to enhance the existing forum and get revenue.

I would also go for existing ones but you need to see that the existing one should be a popular one with good image

buying is better since you don't have to promote or do anything like that but often forums are crazy exspensive so you need to have a big capital to buy a forum

According to me if a forum has have good reputation and for some reason the owner is selling it then it's better to buy that forum instead of starting a new forum as it takes time to win the confidence of users.

It is actually better to start your own forum but it depends on how you want it and buying another person forum will be easier for you because you do not need to start looking for traffic because thw platform already has traffic
