It is a wonderful idea but it is important to have the capital in order to start it.

In my city, the pioneered cinemas were closed down when the big malls built. I felt bad because I had a lot of experiences for watching films them before. I assumed that the owners lost their businesses.

Yes I can agree with you on this. The cinema business is very profitable in the rural areas. This is simply because in rural areas a few TVs exist there unlike in towns and urban centres where almost everyone has a TV set.

i'm not agree with this, cinema business is very profitable is the city or even big city, according to my experience people do not watch TV anymore unless they use it for watching netflix, disney+, prime video or another OTT services. And going to the cinema with the big screen like IMAX Theater is on another level to experince, so i am 100% sure that this business is really profitable in big city but doing local cinema in rural area? new technology with digital era is really need big capital for doing local cinema things, and if i am the investor, i would not invested my money to build local cinema in rural area, thats my opinion

In these days of Netflix, I don't think cinemas are that lucrative. And besides that, there is no such thing as a local cinema. It is either it is standard as a cinema or nothing.

in my country, its still profitable, every new malls in big city always have a cinema theater and in several malls, they have IMAX, another level to experience the movie, and as far as i know, people in here always love to go to cinema especially the youngster or young couples and if the movies are from Marvel or DC, we have to make sure we get the tickets because everyone wants to see that movie in the first day of showing

FYI to build one cinema with 3 studios in Indonesia, takes more than $300.000 (these data from one of the Cinema Chains), so I don't know about Local Cinema because even doing local cinemas, the equipment is the same and the capital is the same, though

I think one of the things some business people do not understand is that if they're not innovative enough people will get tired someday. When something better comes up they will always leave.

Almost everyone love watching movies but not everyone has the needed resources to watch them, especially in rural places. Do you think setting up a small local cinema would be lucrative?

Im a big movie buff myself and I know firsthand how hard it can be to access movies in rural areas. setting up a small cinema would not only provide entertainment but also create jobs and boost the local economy.

in my opinion, Netflix maybe has many options for movies and series but we have to remember that we go to the movie theaters for the cinema experience that we can not get by watching Netflix like a big screen, great sounds, and the movie itself. In Jakarta, Indonesia we have one cinema (that only has 2 studios but you get all the movie experience there, from a big screen, great sounds and so on and the good thing is the price is very reasonable. And don't forget about Imax Studio who offer you another level of movie experience that you can't get by watching it at home.

I do subs for Netflix or Disney+ and others but as a movie lover myself, I'm sure this business is still profitable in My country, every new mall provides new cinema (we have 3 big chains of Cinemas here that always bring us the best movie experience) and every big city here have comfortable cinema theater that we can choose based on our budget.

So, that's why I ask "Local Cinema? what kind of local cinema it is" in My city local cinema partnership with CGV from Korea so it is a win-win solution and after covid, people do not afraid to go to the cinema to watch their favorite movies and it is a good sign, though

to build a cinema with 3 studios @SHAHID987 in my country it needs at least $300.000 (it includes all of the equipment) and makes local cinema we still need all the equipment (with the latest technology) and I don't think it is lucrative in the rural area
