Be it's a happy occasion or Sad everyone require tent for different occasions and it's a very good business in India because still many people like to plan their events near their house or at the terrace so a tent is necessary for any event and that makes it a good business. And they also deal in chairs and tables etc.

I know a friend who is into the business and he is making a huge profit from it. It is a lucrative venture.
I don't think people use to do this business alone. People that specializes in rental business also hire tents. In Nigeria, especially in South east region, rich people always hire tent for special occasions. One tent do cost around 60-80 thousand naira daily.
This is not something that is popular in my country. You barely find those houses around. I know it is common in countrues that are tourists destinations to provide temporary accomodations and adventure for tourists.
It is a profitable business. In my country, people hire tents for special events, especially in the summer.
There are some people that offer this kind of services to those that come to the beach to enjoy themselves which they charge a good amount of money for providing tents for people to use in the beach.
The same thing happens in my country. A lot of people stay in tents by the sea during the summer.
I'm not sure if renting tent is a lucrative business here. Some people do rent tent when they are at the beach. Other than that, there are events like Fun Fair or Food Fair may also rent tent. But most people host events in hotels or community halls. For outdoor events such as Flower market, the organizer hires people to build booths.
This business is no doubt very profitable. This is because most people would hire tents to hold different occasions in the society. However the charging fees for the hiring of the tents depends on the owner's wish in my country.
