Some people tend to discount the importance of character to the growth of their business. For starters, I can't buy from any shop where the seller is arrogant. You can't mess with my mental health because I want to patronize you.

It's hardly a picnic to launch a new company. Some thrive, while others fail and eventually close up shop. There are several variables that will determine the fate of your company. The state of the economy, for example, is beyond your control. Other factors, such as your own personality, also play a significant influence in determining the success or failure of your firm. You need to be optimistic that your business will succeed. Also, you have to be resilient.
Definitely being respectful and humble is the attitude of a successful business owner. Even is they do not succeed, soon they will. Putting trust and respect towards other will make then feel comfortable, and in turn, they be more likely of patronizing your business again. Basic professionalism in my humble opinion.
Customers have abused this comment and that needs to be corrected. It's one of the reasons a lot of people move their business online to avoid people with such attitude. You have a larger base of customers and can afford to lose the few arrogant ones.
Some people would be complaining of low patronage and if you check some of them, you will observe that their condition is as a result of their attitudes toward their customers. Some of them don't know how to offer good customers relationships.
If you have a terrible character no one will patronize your business. So it is important to always display good character.
Yes. In my country, there is a popular saying that "characters is the king of a trade". Which means if you had a good sales package for your business but you lack character, no one would patronize you.

I can't stand a business person that has a bad character. I would bring my hard earned money to make you richer and you are being rude to me, I can't stand it.
I cannot buy from a shop with sales who are rude and arrogant. I do not want an unhappy shopping experience. Other than price, customer service is essential to the success of any business.
I think that character refers to the personality and behaviour of the business entrepreneur and I think that this could be important because people may not feel comfortable working with a person who may not be good.
Yes, I totally agree with you, the quality of service in buying and selling is very influential. I am one of those people who are lazy to buy if the seller is not friendly even though the price is cheaper.
I believe in transparency and I think that if a person is selling something, then he or she must mention all the flaws in the product as well and be honest about what he or she is selling.

Some business people are not cultured in behaviour. This shows in the way they behave towards customers. They might ignore you when you are talking to them. Some might shout at you.
The character of the employees plays a major role when it comes to customers satisfaction and as well customers service. No matter how good your products and services are, if you do not have good character, you would definitely loose out.
