Umbrella or raincoat?

I hear thunder and probably it will rain today I am ready with an umbrella but have never felt comfortable wearing a raincoat?

I also seldom wear raincoat except during typhoon, the wind is so strong that I cannot hold an umbrella. In that situation, I would wear a raincoat.

I can relate to not feeling comfortable in a raincoat. They often feel stiff, crinkly, and restrictive. I much prefer carrying an umbrella when it rains.

I have never felt comfortable with both, cause immediately the rain stops the umbrella or raincoat tends to feel like load for me.

During my primary school days, I used to use raincoats. Now, I prefer using umbrellas.

And by the time you wear your rain coat it will stop raining and that is one reason why I do not carry a rain coat
