As a worker in a place you can prevent toxic workplace culture by being friendly with all the staff and work authority, then do not criticize any one's effort at work
It must be minimum of effort. You can't always say I did something. Sometimes workers must work more. Boss must set minimum. If worker can't provide that, it must leave work.

Any business owners that wanted to promote relative friendly environment in his business must know how prevent toxic culture in his workplace. Productivity would be affected where workers morale are affected. Where workers feel insecure, time theft would prevail.
A good working environment can make a big difference with people who are working with their respective companies. Business owners need to keep on sustaining the conducive place to work. Unfortunately, some of them cannot do this religiously.

You must have much as possible to prevent partiality if you do not want a toxic work environment. Another thing is encouraging cooperation among employees.

Toxic people carry lots of baggages which could make your work experience awful. For me, I tell them to stay off me. They need to be avoided at all costs.

One thing about a toxic work environment is that it affects the psyche of staff. A staff can be coming to work with very high spirits only to be discouraged by the toxicity in the workplace.

This is very correct and valid, I really commend you for these excerpts, it is always good and advisable to lead by example, so that others or your subordinates can follow suit, don't be biased in your judgement, don't engage in favouritism.
The first step is to lead by example. Make it very obvious that you don't tolerate any form of conflicts and toxic relationships. Give fair judgment without favoritism. Secondly, allow the employees some level of participation in decision making. I think this process will go a long way to help develop a cordial relationship in the business environment.

There are many factors that contribute to a toxic workplace culture, but they may all be mitigated or avoided. Make sure to prioritize the well-being of your employees. Address any toxic employee as soon as possible. Give them comments that will help them change their destructive behavior. Include a reward system as well. Employees that do well in their employment and behave decently should be rewarded.

As an employer it is good to always maintain a non toxic working culture. This is to help all employees to be free minded and work to their best abilities.

You can do the following
Avoid any partiality so giive credit to where credit is due.

You need to ecourage team sharing and avoid playing favourites to any workere

Try aad lead by example which will not you promotin any toxic work culture

I also believe that gossiping during working hours is something that should be eliminated at your workplace otherwise it is going to give room for people to start behaving anyhow.

Any business venture that is interested in becoming successful must take action against gossiping seriously. Gossiping is something that should be prohibited from a business venture.

Toxic working culture should be eradicated in all ramifications. It does not favour both the employees and employers. Any employer that want maximum output from his workers should be ready to promote good working environment.

Unless we would be deceiving ourselves, many foreign firms in Nigeria are full of toxity. Laborers are badly treated. They receive poor wages. Their working environment is not friendly. Foreigners are well placed over the indigenous workers.

The other angle is that the toxicities might not even come from the boss..It might even come from other employees in the organization. How would an employer prevent the staff of the organization from acting out this toxicity.
Every organization has its own code of conduct which every workers must adhered. It is left for the organization to decide the fate of any worker defaults in behavioral attitudes.

The boss need to be in control in the workplaces,the boss should avoid being partial and should nice to everyone and the boss or employer should treat all the employees equally.
Yes, I totally agree with you. A toxic work environment usually occurs because there is a caste system within the company, there is the term "the boss's favorite employee", so that other people feel jealous of him.

Exactly, this is to agree that. even the toxicity in the workplace is still caused by the humans there you don't have to keep being partial and favouring others without a repercussions
